Practical information
Arriving by plane From the airport of Toulouse there are two options. Both start basically in front of Hall C. The first possibility is to take the bus called «navette aéroport Tisséo» and get off at Compans Caffarelli (to take the line B of the subway) or at Jeanne d'Arc (close to the center). The trip costs 8 euros and the ticket is bought directly in the bus. The second one is to take the tram T2, and get off either at the stop Arènes (for the line A to the hotel or the center) or Palais de Justice (for the line B to the university) . The ticket is a regular ticket and can be bought at the machine at the stop. In both cases the same ticket is used for the connection with the subway. If you arrive late at night or if you carry a heavy luggage, you can also take a taxi. Arriving by train The train station "Toulouse Matabiau" is at walking distance from the center (you can also take the line A of the subway). You can take the line B of the subway at Jean Jaurès (at walking distance or by line A). Going to the university To go to the university you can use the line B of the subway, direction Ramonville. Get off at the station "Université Paul Sabatier". This is the main entrance of the university. Just go inside, walk 200 meters, and the building 1R3 is on your right (blue and grey). If the weather is nice, it is possible to walk from the university to the center along the Canal du Midi (about 45 minutes). Venue The meeting will take place in the Seminar Room located on the first (GB) / second (US) floor of building 1R3 (see map below). Lunches On Monday, lunch can be taken at the "Upsidum" cafeteria of the university. Each participant will pay directly for their meal (cash and credit card are accepted). On Tuesday and Wednesday, participants who registered for lunches are invited at the "Esplanade" restaurant. Social Dinner On Tuesday evening, participants who registered are invited to the restaurant "Chez Fifi" at 8pm (17 Rue Croix Baragnon in Toulouse). Dinner On Monday evening, the dinner is self-organized by the participants.
